a letter writing campaign aimed at stopping letter writing campaigns. Says
Woodsy, "If we can save just one tree it will all be worth it!" Sir Elton
chimed in with the campaign's slogan as penned by, none other than, legendary lyricist
Bernie Taupin, "Plants don't need pen pals, they need real pals!"
Woodsy and fire prevention crusader Smokey the
Bear are often spotted shopping together on Rodeo Drive or just chillin' at Malibu Beach. Woodsy insists
that they’re "just close friends" but as more than one Hollywood insider has pointed out,
"Where there’s Smokey, there’s fire!"
Besides "giving a hoot" about the environment, Woodsy has generously lent a helping hand to many other worthy causes!
